1 John 1:9

The English word human (noun), "a human being", was derived in the 1530s from "human" (adjective). Its Old English equivalent is the word "guma".

I am a human being and so are you. We have a body and a soul. We have good points and bad. We all struggle with sin--except One.

Jesus is God who became fully human. He suffered and died for us to save us from our sins.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to shed my human nature and become "new-man". No more sin. No more struggles. I can't wait to become a "new-man" in heaven.

We have only Jesus to thank.
